AIP is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to work in Miami, FL.
The Lieutenant is responsible for the field supervision of

- Provide supervision, guidance, and on-the-job training to
improve Detention Officer skills, emphasizing the importance of
their responsibilities.
- Ensure consistent service delivery across shifts and locations,
taking immediate corrective action when needed.
- Maintain staffing levels by filling open posts and managing
call-offs due to illness or other reasons.
- Brief Detention Officers during muster and post checks about
Post Orders and emergency situations.
- Conduct on-the-job training to address deficiencies and
reinforce critical skills.
- Report emergencies to the COTR and management.
- Conduct investigations of incidents, including personal
injuries and traffic accidents, and document findings
accurately.
- Review sign-in/out sheets for proper timekeeping and manage
break schedules.
- Oversee detainee counts and assist officers with disturbances
or cooperation issues.
- Inspect facility areas regularly to ensure safety and
compliance.
- Perform duties of the Captain in their absence.Operations
- Manage operational functions of the detention center, including
detention, processing, administration, and transportation.
- Lead and supervise subordinate personnel effectively.
- Schedule staffing to meet minimum standards and perform
contractual duties.Reporting
- Maintain a manifest of detainees and ensure their safe control
24/7.
- Provide written and oral reports as required.Leadership and
Supervision
- Motivate staff to ensure compliance and performance.
- Train officers on job expectations and provide performance
feedback.
- Recognize exemplary work and discipline misconduct
appropriately.
- Participate in hiring processes.Quality Assurance
- Enforce ACA and ICE standards related to detainee care.
- Conduct daily inspections and document findings.
- Address discrepancies immediately and ensure facility security
and operation.Qualifications
- US citizen or lawful permanent resident residing in the U.S.
for the last five years.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Clear criminal background and consumer credit checks.
- Obtain and maintain DHS/ICE clearance.
- Pass drug tests and medical exams.
- At least 21 years old with a valid driver's license.
- Minimum one year as a detention officer and two years in
supervisory roles.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and
professionally.
- Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and a professional
appearance.
- Ability to work with diverse populations and reside within the
continental U.S.
