Time or Part Time I. Job Summary The Dishwasher is responsible for
ensuring that the kitchen and staff areas are maintained to a high
standard of cleanliness and safety. Assisting in the completion of
manual tasks as assigned by the kitchen management team. II.
Essential Job Functions Job Activities Completes all assigned tasks
in line with standards. Has a thorough understanding of and
adherence to regulations, in particular relating to Fire, Hygiene,
and Health and Safety. Reports for duty punctually, wearing the
correct uniform at all times. Ensures they are adhering to all
policies and operational procedures at all times. Undertakes all
cleaning duties and any additional tasks, as directed by the
kitchen management team. Stows away deliveries, discards all boxes
and packaging and ensures food is labeled and rotated correctly.
Ensures all duties are completed within the required time frames.
Complies with all rules and regulations that are in place regarding
food hygiene and health & safety practices. Ensures kitchen waste
is disposed of in a responsible manner and in line with company
policy and local council regulations. Cleans and washes pots & pans
and other dishes in a careful manner to reduce breakages. Leaves
the area clean, neat and tidy. Requirements Personal Competencies

positive attitude when working with a variety of people, and be
able to work well under pressure. Responsible, neat and clean in
appearance. Strong communication skills with supervisors and team
members. Must be able to read, write and speak English. V. Working
