Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Medicare Home Health experience required License: Florida State or compact license required at time of submission Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required Must-Have: - Recent post-operative surgical home health experience, specifically in orthopedic and general cases - Experience with Pleurx drains - EPIC experience required - Ability to float to all necessary facilities Description: The role involves providing home health care to adult patients. The nurse will manage a caseload of approximately 27-30 patients per day. Weekend rotation is required, with 5 weekend shifts every 6 weeks. On-call responsibilities are expected. Two references from authority figures within the last year are required for the application process. A flu vaccine is required between October 31 and March 31, with exemptions available for medical or religious reasons. Candidates must be available for interviews as per stated availability. All requested time off (RTO) must be included during the application process and cannot be added after the interview. Candidates who have left an internal contracted position must wait a period of one year before reapplying. Local candidates will be accepted at the same rate as travelers. All candidates must comply with background policies prior to consideration.
