services related to the orientation, continuing education, and
assessment of clinical staff. Experienced
Medical/Surgical/Telemetry or IMCU as staff nurse, preceptor or
educator. Responsibilities: Collaborates with nursing leaders and
staff to assess learning needs and competencies of
staff.Participates in the coordination and delivery of simulation
center activities for staff training and competency
evaluation.Facilitates and assesses learning activities related to
clinical competencies, departmental/organizational policies,
regulatory requirements, and use of clinical information
technologies.Serves as a consultant/mentor for staff in clinical
practice and professional development. Competencies:
