Job Description:
Job Title: Phlebotomist I Job Location: Miami Beach, FL 33139
Job Duration: 3 months/Temp to hire Shift hours: Mon - Fri 7:00 am
- 3:00 pm Rotating Saturdays: 6:30 am - 11:00 am at two different
locations. Job Description: · Draws quality blood samples from
patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while
following established practices and procedures. · Direct contact
with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence
while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens
in a skillful, safe and accurate manner. · Leadership Behaviors
while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to
confidentiality and accuracy to patient information. · Performs
with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection
and processing duties following established practices and
procedures. · Maintains required records and documentation. ·
Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric. ·
Minimum 6 months’ phlebotomy experience required. · Phlebotomy
certification preferred. · High school diploma or equivalent
required. · Keyboard/data entry experience a must. · Medical
assistant or paramedic training preferred. · Interviews for
Phlebotomy roles will be scheduled each Wednesday and Thursday
between 2-4 PM EST and all interviews will be conducted ONSITE.
