Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Engineer Software
Quality/Engineer Software Quality. This position will be located at
our Aeronautics Sector Melbourne, FL location. The qualified
candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Mission Assurance
organization. The selected candidate will develop, modify, apply,
and maintain quality evaluation and control systems and protocols
for processing materials into partially finished or finished
materials product. Other duties include: Collaborate with
engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards
are in place. Devise and implement methods and procedures for
inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of
products and production equipment. Design and analyze inspection
and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment; conduct quality
assurance tests; and perform statistical analysis to assess the
cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials
that do not meet required standards and specifications. Audit
quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.
Ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability
standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material,
production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory
control and/or research and development as they apply to product or
process quality. May be certified in lean and six-sigma quality
engineering methodologies. This requisition may be filled at either
an Associate Engineer Software Quality (T01) or Engineer Software
Quality (T02) Basic Qualifications for an Associate Engineer
Software Quality (T01) A candidate, regardless of age and hiring
source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must: Be
completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an
accredited institution by August 2026. Be majoring in or having
majored in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar STEM
degree. Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security
clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program
Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by
the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a
pre-requisite). Final approved U.S. Government security clearance
(U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special
Access may be required to start. Basic Qualifications for an
Engineer Software Quality (T02) A candidate, regardless of age and
hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate
must: Be completing or has completed their Master’s degree from an
accredited institution by August 2026. Be majoring in or having
majored in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar STEM
degree. Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security

(professional/community/extracurricular) Pay Range Associate
Engineer Software Quality (T01): $59,900 - $89,900 Engineer
Software Quality (T02): $72,100 - $108,100 Campusjobs Primary Level
Salary Range: $59,900.00 - $89,900.00 Secondary Level Salary Range:
$90,100.00 - $108,100.00 The above salary range represents a
general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of
factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and
responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience,
education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the
position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift
differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability
insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off
