Job Description:
We are presently seeking a highly motivated, goal-orientated,
and efficient Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our growing team
in the Roofing Division. The Commercial Roofing Estimator reports
to the Division Director and is responsible for client
communication, preparing and submitting the Prebid package
(estimate, budget, and schedule), and traveling to the project site
as necessary to collect pertinent information. QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience as a Commercial Roofing Estimator in the general
construction field as a general contractor representative Edge
Software Extensive knowledge of established construction and
maintenance practices, procedures, and techniques, as well as
applicable local, state, and federal building codes and legislation
Strong communication skills; thorough and attentive to details Able
to prioritize and multi-task, proactive and deadline-oriented, and
have interpersonal skills Must possess strong negotiation skills
Time management, multitasking, and interpersonal skills. Ability to
closely collaborate with other project teams and stakeholders
Knowledge of Pipeline invitation-to-bid software is a plus Ability
to read and interpret documents such as work orders, safety rules,
operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Computer skills including internet, e-mail, (MS Outlook) MS Excel,
and MS Word Experience with estimating software, Xactimate
preferred EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree from a
four-year college or university; or (5) years related experience
and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
experience Minimum of at least three (4) years of commercial
roofing estimating Will go as high as $110,000.00 for a senior
